Our finished solar system!!!
We have spent the last few months doing this and I can't believe how much Rio and Cruz have absorbed and retained!
They loved doing this and have learnt everything from the names and order of the planets to their distance, size and temperature.
We have learnt about rockets, astronauts and the difference between asteroids, comets and meteoroids. Also the different phases of the moon. We have built our own space scene and astronaut helmets, completed rocket experiments and made our own paper mâché planets! 
We have read many books and watched clips/programmes on youtube to reinforce our learning and understanding!
This has been so much fun and we can't wait to start our next project.
